The Sunnah in «Using Sewak»
Using Sewak (Teeth Cleaning Stick)

There are several times in which a Muslim may use Sewak at day and
night:

The Prophet – Peace be upon him – said: (
Were it not for avoiding
inflicting difficulties on my nation, I would have ordered them
to use Sewak upon the performance of each prayer
) Narrated by
Al-Bukhari & Muslim.

The total times of using Sewak by the Muslim at the day and night is
not less than (20) times. The Muslim uses Sewak :
-Upon performing the five prayers, the regular Sunnah prayers, Al-Doha
(Morning) prayer, Al-Wetr Prayer (i.e. ending prayer with odd Raka’a –
prostration – at night).
- Upon entering the house, because the first thing performed by the
Prophet – Peace be upon him – when he enters his house is using the
Sewak, as narrated by Aisha – May Allah be pleased with her – in Sahih
Muslim. So, every time you enter your house use Sewka in order to apply
the Sunnah.
- Upon reading the Holy Quran, for changing the smell of the mouth.
- Upon waking up.
- Upon making ablution (Wudhou’). The Prophet – Peace be upon him
– said: (
The Sewak cleans the mouth and causes the pleasure of
Allah the Almighty
) Narrated by Ahmad.
The benefit of applying this Sunnah:
a)
Gaining the pleasure of Allah the Almighty.
b)
Cleaning the mouth.
Miswak is the root of the " Peelu" tree ( salvadora Persica) known in arabic as " Arak". The sewak is the natural, safer and more effective tooth brush in comparison with synthetic toothburshes. Its soft fibers reach more easily between the teeth where the conventional tooth brush often misses( flossing effect). The sewak is the effective way of maintaining the high level oral cleanliness which directly relates to overall wellness of the body.
Miswak is mainly Sunnah of prophet Mohammad (Pbuh). Miswak kills mouth bacteria, removes mouth odor, reduces tooth decay, fights plaque and many other spiritual and health benefits.

BEAUTY OF RAMADAN

"O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you

 Some Common Mistakes in Ramadaan
1 : Taking Ramadan as a ritual:For many of us Ramadan has lost its spirituality and has become more
of a ritual than a form of Ibaadah. We fast from morning to night like
a zombie just because everyone around us is fasting too. We forget
that its a time to purify our hearts and our souls from all evil....
we forget to make dua, forget to beseech Allaah to forgive us and
ask Him to save us from the Fire.  Sure we stay away from food and
drink but that's about all.

Although the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"'Jibreel said to me, May Allaah rub his nose in the dust,
that person to who Ramadaan comes and his sins are
not forgiven, and I said, Ameen.

2 : Too much stress on food and drink:
For some people, the entire month of Ramadan revolves around food.
They spend the ENTIRE day planning, cooking, shopping and thinking
about only food, instead of concentrating on Salaah,
".....and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly
He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifoon (those who waste by extravagance) "
[al-Araaf :31]

3 : Spending all day cooking
Some of the sisters (either by their own choice or forced by
their husbands) are cooking ALL day and ALL night, so that by
the end of the day, they are too tired to even pray Ishaa,

4 : Eating too much

Some people stuff themselves at Suhoor until they are ready to burst,
because they think this is the way to not feel hungry during the day
and some people eat at Iftaar, like there is no tomorrow, trying to
make up for the food missed. However, this is completely against
the Sunnah. Moderation is the key to everything.

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"The son of Adam does not fill any vessel worse than his stomach;
for the son of Adam a few mouthfuls are sufficient to keep his
back straight. If you must fill it, then one-third for food,
one-third for drink and one-third for air."
(Tirmidhi, Ibn Maajah.  saheeh by al-Albaani).

5 : Sleeping all day:
Some people spend their entire day (or a major part of it) sleeping away
their fast. Is this what is really required of us during this noble month?
These people also are missing the purpose of fasting and are slaves to
their desires of comfort and ease. They cannot bear to be awake and
face a little hunger or exert a little self-control. For a fasting person
to spend most of the day asleep is nothing but, negligence on his part.

6 : Wasting time:
The month of Ramadaan is a precious, precious time, so much so that
Allaah calls this month "Ayyamum Madoodaat" (A fixed number of days).
Before we know it, this month of mercy and forgiveness will be over.
We should try and spend every moment possible in the worship of Allaah
so that we can make the most of this blessing.

7 : Fasting but not giving up evil:
Some of us fast but do not give up lying, cursing, fighting, backbiting, etc.
and some of us fast but do not give up cheating, stealing, dealing in haraam,
buying lotto tickets, selling alcohol, fornication,

"O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed
for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)"
[al-Baqarah 2:183]

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it,
and ignorance, Allaah has no need of him giving up his food and drink."
(Bukhaari)

8 : Smoking:
Smoking is forbidden in Islam whether during Ramadaan or outside of it,
as it is one of al-Khabaaith (evil things). And this includes
ALL kinds of smoking material eg.cigars, cigarettes, pipes, sheesha, hookah etc.

9 : Skipping Suhoor:
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"Eat suhoor for in suhoor there is blessing."(Bukhaari, Muslim).

And he (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"The thing that differentiates between our fasting and the fasting of
the People of the Book is eating suhoor." (Muslim)

10 : Stopping Suhoor at Imsaak :
Some people stop eating Suhoor 10-15 minutes earlier than the time of Fajr
to observe Imsaak.

11 : Not fasting if they missed Suhoor:
Some people are too scared to fast if they miss Suhoor. However,
this is a kind of cowardice and love of ease. What is the big deal
if you missed a few morsels of food? Its not like you will die. Remember,
obedience to Allah overcomes everything.

  12:
Missing the golden chance of having your Dua accepted:
The prayer of the fasting person is guaranteed to be accepted
at the time of breaking fast.

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"Three prayers are not rejected: the prayer of a father,
the prayer of a fasting person, and the prayer of a traveler."
(al-Bayhaqi, saheeh by al-Albaani).

Instead of sitting down and making Dua at this precious time, some
people forego this beautiful chance, and are too busy frying samosas,
talking, setting the food, filling their plates and glasses, etc. Think about it
....Is food more important than the chance to have your sins forgiven or
the fulfillment of your Duas.
13: : Fasting but not praying:
The fasting of one who does not pray WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
This is because not praying constitutes kufr as the Prophet
(Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"Between a man and shirk and kufr there stands his giving up prayer."
(Muslim)

In fact, NONE of his good deeds will be accepted; rather,
they are all annulled.

"Whoever does not pray Asr, his good deeds will be annulled."
(Bukhaari)
14:Fasting and not wearing Hijaab:

Not wearing the Hijaab is a major sin as it is obligatory for Muslim women.
(See Surah Nur, Surah Ahzaab). So fasting and not wearing hijaab certainly
takes away enormously from the rewards of fasting,
even if does not invalidate it.

15:Not fasting because of exams or work:
Exams or work is NOT one of the excuses allowed by the Shariah to not fast.
You can do your studying and revision at night if it is too hard to do that
during the day. Also remember that pleasing and obeying Allaah is much
more important than good grades. Besides, if you will fulfil your obligation
to fast, even if you have to study, Allaah will make it easy for you and help
you in everything you do.

"Whosoever fears Allah, He will appoint for him a way out and provide for him
from where he does not expect, Allah is Sufficient for whosoever puts his trust
in Him."
(Surah at-Talaaq 2-3)

16:Mixing fasting and dieting:

DO NOT make the mistake of fasting with the intention to diet.
That is one of the biggest mistakes some of us make (esp. sisters).
Fasting is an act of worship and can only be for the sake of Allah alone.

Otherwise, mixing it with the intention of dieting may become
a form of (minor) Shirk.

17:Praying ONLY on the night of the 27th
Some people pray ONLY on the 27th to seek Lailat ul-Qadr, neglecting
all other odd nights, although the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam)
said:
"Seek Lailat ul-Qadr among the odd numbered nights of
the last ten nights of Ramadan."
(Bukhaari, Muslim).

PLEASE LET LEARN FROM OUR OWN MISTAKES,

Fast voluntarily on Monday and Thursday.
O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,-

For Muslim men and women,- for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in Charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah’s praise,- for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.

The Prophet (peace be on him) mentioned that: “The deeds of the worshippers are presented before Allah on Monday and Thursday, I like my deeds to be presented while I am fasting.” (Nasa’I) The prophet (peace be on him) was asked about fasting on Monday, he said:” That is the day I was born and the day (the first Revelation) was sent down on me.” (Muslim) Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to fast on Monday and Thursday. On being asked about that the Prophet said: “Deeds are presented on every Monday and Thursday. Allah forgives every Muslim or every believer, except for those who are forsaking each other. He says [about them]: ‘Leave them.’ “ (Reported by Ahmad with authentic chain of narrators) Aayeshah Radhiyallahu anha reports: “Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam (often) gave importance to the fasting on Mondays and Thursdays” Tirmidhi

Abu Hurayrah Radhiyallahu anhu says: “Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said: ‘Deeds are presented (before Allah subhanahu wata’allah) on Mondays and Thursdays. I desire that my deeds be presented whilst I am fasting’” Tirmidhi 288:8 Action Plan 1. Make intention to fast 2. Wake up for suhoor/sehri and have a good breakfast before the true dawn 3.Make tahajud/qiyam layl 4. Abstain from food, drink, sexual intercourse and evil from sunrise to sunset. 5. ISATOU NYANDOU: Friendship and love between a man and a woman

ISATOU NYANDOU: Friendship and love between a man and a woman

Friendship and love between a man and a woman

Friendship and love between a man and a woman
I know keeping girlfriend will destroy the family and so on but what if we were just friends secretly were no one knew. this way we will we will stay togethr until marraige and we can garentee we wont perform any zinna. are there any cases in the old times of love .

Praise be to Allaah.

Firstly:

Taking a girlfriend does not only destroy the family, it destroys society, and those who do this are threatened with the punishment and wrath of Allaah. Love is a sickness that destroys the heart and leads to evil and immorality. The Shaytaan will keep tempting them and pushing them until they commit immoral actions and thus each gets what he or she wants from the other.

There are many forbidden matters associated with this, such as transgressing against the honour of others, betraying trust, being alone with a member of the opposite sex, touching, kissing, speaking immoral words, then the greater evil which occurs at the end, which is the sin of zina.

The fact that the questioner says “no one knows about us” is strange. How can he forget about his Lord Who knows what is secret and what is yet more hidden, and who knows the fraud of the eyes and all that the hearts conceal. (cf. Ghaafir 40:19).

Our advice to you, as you are still young, is to discipline yourself to obey Allaah and always remember that He is watching; fear Allaah concerning people’s honour; strive for the Day when you will meet your Lord with your deeds; remember the scandal that may happen in this world and the Hereafter. Remember that you have sisters and will have a wife and daughters, so would you like for one of them what you are doing with the daughters of the Muslims? The answer is that you would certainly not like it, and other people do not like it either. Remember that you may see the results of your sin in some of your family members as a punishment to you from your Lord.

You have to look for righteous friends, and you have to keep yourself busy doing that which Allaah loves and is pleased with. Pay attention to the best and most sublime things and leave alone the worst and most vile things. Make the most of your youth in obeying and worshipping Allaah, seeking knowledge and calling others to Allaah. Remember that there were those of your age and younger who were men who had memorized the Qur’aan, who sought knowledge, whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent to call others to Allaah and to enter the religion of Islam.

We advise you to get married to a righteous, religiously-committed woman who will help you adhere to your religion and encourage you to adhere to the laws of Allaah, who will look after your children and bring them up with good morals and religious commitment. Give up this woman who agrees to go out with a man who is a stranger to her (a non-mahram) and meet him and talk to him; if she agrees to do immoral actions now then what is going to prevent her from continuing to do so in the future?

Remember that you are angering your Lord with such sins as being alone with her, meeting her and talking to her, and anything more than that is even more serious.

You should realize that zina does not only involve the private parts, rather the eyes may commit zina, the ears may commit zina, the hand may commit zina and the foot may commit zina, as was proven from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). All of that leads to the zina of the private parts. So do not let the Shaytaan deceive you, for he is an enemy to you who wishes you evil and tells you to commit immoral actions.

Shaykh Muhammad al-Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen said:

Contact between lovers in improper and unlawful ways is a calamity and a real disaster. It is not permissible for the man to contact the woman in this case, or for the woman to contact the man. If he says that he wants to marry her, then he must tell her wali (guardian) that he wants to marry her, or she should tell her wali that she wants to marry him, as ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) did when he offered his daughter Hafsah in marriage to Abu Bakr and ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them).

But if the woman contacts the man directly, this is the source of fitnah (temptation).

As’ilat al-Baab il-Maftooh (Question no. 868).

Secondly:

With regard to your question about such forbidden relationships in the ancient love stories, the fact that such stories existed among those who came before us cannot be taken as proof with regard to shar’i rulings, because the rulings of sharee’ah having to do with what is forbidden and what is allowed are to be taken from the shar’i evidence of the Qur’aan and Sunnah, and the commands and prohibitions contained therein.

Some of those mentioned in these stories came before Islam, such as ‘Antarah and others, and such stories are to be found in other cultures as is well known. But we cannot take shar’i rulings from this because Islam came to bring people forth from being controlled by their desires to complete submission to Allaah the Lord of the Worlds.

We ask Allaah to guide us and you and to give us strength.
